Repti Basking Spot® lamps have a unique patented double reflector, which concentrates 35% more heat and light in a narrow beam than classic heating lamps. The bulbs are ideal for all tropical and desert reptiles that regulate body temperatures by sunbathing. The bulbs provide up to 2000 hours of operation.
The bulb provides a local hot spot and adequate UVA light to all tropical and desert reptiles, which they urgently need for the optimal functioning of physiological processes in the body.
At the same time, UVA light allows reptiles to see their environment well, thus encouraging their natural behavior. The bulbs can be used in mesh or glass terrariums.
Instructions for use: Use only with suitable bulb holders. The bulb should only be on for 8-12 hours a day to provide your pet with the right amount of daylight it needs.
Warning: Make sure that flammable materials (eg curtains, clothes,…) do not come into direct contact with the bulb. The bulb is intended for use by reptiles only and is not suitable for other household lights. If the glass breaks, do not touch the bulb even if it is still lit. Immediately unplug it and allow it to cool.
